I don't know who produces this stuff (but I love it!).
Spotting items and trends of importance (because you don't have time to go looking for them all yourself).
I have spent 40+ years in communications (newspapers, radio, TV, graphic design). Despite having been involved with computers since 1988, I still feel intimidated by them, to say nothing about all the other new technologies.
